We are looking for someone to join us for a 12-14-month maternity contract to lead our Client Services team.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director (MD) the Client Services Director (CSD) is ultimately responsible for the strategic growth, development and revenues of the existing client portfolio.
You will be a thought leader; you will work with the Strategists/Consultant and the Client Service team in developing the strategic direction of their accounts. You will proactively identify growth strategies for key client accounts and the agency. You will establish Senior and C-suite relationships and through your insight and expertise coach them to make smarter digitally focussed decisions.
You will have complete financial accountability of the existing client portfolio and will be responsible for setting and achieving financial targets for the fiscal year. As part of the Leadership Team, you will be working with the Managing Director and broader Senior Management Team (SMT) to ensure the continued growth of the agency. In order to achieve this, you will have a holistic and in-depth knowledge of all clients. Within the role you must ensure deep client engagement through overseeing and managing the agencies client portfolio.

Located in the Paintworks, the creative quarter of Bristol, you will work across our London and Bristol offices to ensure your team are fully supported, fostering a positive culture and environment that encourages ownership. Build ‘trusted advisor’ relationships with key senior client contacts.

Motivate, retain and develop a high-quality Client Services team.
Strive for positive internal and external feedback.
Aim to sharpen and build client services as a craft; seeking to learn new skills and stay abreast of business, audience and technology trends, successfully applying them to work practices.
10+ years’ client services and management experience.
Experience of or desire to operate as a strategic leader with breadth of cases and example work that has inspired and added something to the world.
Strong interpersonal and people management skills: able to lead and inspire.
Exceptional consulting and client management skills.
Deep understanding of business models.
Fundamental knowledge of digital, and a pulse of cultural and consumer trends.
Financial and legal experience relating to the role.
Proven track record in effective team development and growth.
