You will be responsible for raising awareness of Great State and what we do; showcasing our work, our thinking and our incredibly talented people. We want our existing clients to see all the other great work we are doing, potential clients to see what they could be creating with us and for brilliant people at all levels of their career, wanting to work with us, to see the opportunities we can provide. 

This is a broad role, so we are looking for someone capable of bringing something dynamic to the team. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Creation and management of multi-channel marketing calendar to support wider business goals/ objectives 
  • Planning, execution and evaluation of all marketing and brand awareness activity including media planning and developing creative campaign materials with support of our in-house creative team 
  • Budget management 
  • Communicating with senior management about new marketing activities
  • Organising promotional events and ensuring the prompt delivery of supporting materials and products by coordinating with staff. 
  • Briefing creative teams, and managing production of all materials 
  • Measurement and reporting of campaign effectiveness to inform future activity 
  • Management of agency website via CMS 
  • Training and upskilling the wider team where appropriate to understand the importance of marketing and the role they can play 
  • Increasing traffic to the company website through a variety of marketing campaigns, including creating and running email campaigns, and paid media (e.g. PPC, LinkedIn advertising). 
  • Coordinating photography and video footage of events and for use in content 
  • Reporting on marketing activity and deliverables making recommendations 
  • Supporting the new business function by providing high quality and timely content. 

About you

  • A natural multi-tasker – any day could involve organising and event, podcast, email campaign, conference, at various stages of development 
  • Great communicator at all levels and with real attention for detail 
  • A natural multi-tasker – organised and calm 
  • Confident and charismatic – able to build rapport quickly 
  • Flexible in your approach and able to balance different aspects of this role 
  • 3+ years’ experience, ideally within a similar/more junior role with an understanding of the agency landscape and experience working with key industry press  
  • Able to travel when required
