Purchase Ledger Clerk

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 per annumLocation: Bristol

Are you clear-headed and methodical with a good head for figures?

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Bristol team, based in our beautiful open plan office in the Paintworks. For this role, you will need to have had experience of commercial Purchase Ledger and other adhoc finance duties. Also, good MS Office skills and Sage or similar accountancy package knowledge.

The role involves:

  • Processing all purchase invoices and purchase orders
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing expenses and petty cash
  • Reviewing creditors ledger
  • Dealing with all issues related to the purchase ledger in a timely manner
  • Ad hoc tasks and projects as and when required
  • Provide holiday cover when necessary
  • Some understanding of VAT to ensure correct posting

To be considered you will:

  • Have previous experience working in an accounts environment
  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Maintain the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines and targets
  • Be motivated, driven and a proactive team player
  • Have good written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
