This role is based in our East London office, where you’ll join a newly formed multi-disciplinary delivery team. As a Senior .NET developer, you will need to be up-to-date on the latest trends. You should have strong skills in the Microsoft stack, but we also appreciate diverse backgrounds can provide a broader view on software architecture and development.
You should have in-depth knowledge of many of the following:
ASP.NET Web API 2 and MVC 5
Umbraco or experience of similar platform
ORMs - Entity Framework, Dapper or NHibernate
RDBMS schema design
Thorough understanding of VDOM based library
Flux or MVC architecture
PostCSS, SASS, or LESS
Webpack or Grunt
git or other VCS
Nice to have:
SOA and RESTful services
Gang of Four patterns
Our clients vary from deeply technical to marketing professionals of all levels. You should therefore be comfortable presenting technical information to clients in a straightforward and commercial manner, as well as holding your own in a technology head to head.
Senior .NET developers need strong communication and time management skills to help with code reviews, requirements gathering, prototyping, mentoring, and project leadership.
